Korea Festival to return to Jakarta in September

The 2017 Korea Festival is set to return on Sept. 21- 24 at Lotte Shopping Avenue in South Jakarta.
Organized by Korea Tourism Organization Jakarta (KTO Jakarta) in collaboration with the Korean Association in Indonesia, the annual event will feature various activities, including K-pop cover dance competition, taekwondo performance by Indonesian delegation team, Korean percussion music Samulnori, as well as performances by Korean non-verbal acts The Painters: Hero and School of Performing Arts Seoul (SOPA).

In addition to the aforementioned performances, kompas.com reported that the festival would also feature South Korean traditional attire hanbok fashion show, K-food cooking demo, K-beauty demo and Korean food products exhibition. Local singers Rizky Febian and Calvin Jeremy are also scheduled to perform at the event.

Meanwhile, a photo stand will be available for those wanting to take a picture in hanbok.
